Certificate of completion for hackathon

Hack and Seek Certificate of Completion (print)

Lethbridge Polytechnic, Spatial Technologies Applied Research and Training (START): April 2025

Quest Objective
For the 2025 Hack and Seek hackathon, I designed a certificate of completion for 68 student participants, aligning with the event’s established branding developed by the Lethbridge Polytechnic design team in previous years.

Using Photoshop, I created a print-ready design with appropriate bleeds and carefully incorporated logos from all three hosting locations to ensure consistent and accurate representation. Once the layout was finalized, I imported the design into InDesign and used a CSV file to efficiently populate each student’s name.

This streamlined workflow allowed for the quick and accurate production of all certificates. The final files were exported as print-ready PDFs and sent off for signatures from all three locations and then to the printers.

UI of AI Kiosk Screen

Kelly: Travel Concierge AI Kiosk

Lethbridge Polytechnic, START: August 2024

Quest Objective
In this project, I developed the UI for an interactive kiosk designed to help users engage with Kelly, an AI assistant, to explore dining, shopping, and activity options in Lethbridge, Alberta.

I was deeply involved in extensive user testing throughout the project, conducting up to 100 user tests. From this data, I generated reports that helped refine the user experience, ensuring the interaction with Kelly was intuitive and user-friendly.

My contributions ensured both the technical and design elements were aligned to create a smooth and engaging experience for users seeking recommendations from Kelly.

Interactive Digital Board

Platform Calgary Company Connect Interactive Board

Lethbridge Polytechnic, START: November 2023

Quest Objective
For this project, I played a key role in designing the UI and UX of an interactive display called Company Connect, designed and developed for Platform Calgary. The display utilized Ultra Leap camera technology, enabling users to interact with company logos through hand gestures, with a hand silhouette appearing on-screen to guide their movements.

In addition to shaping the user experience, I created the visual assets and animations that formed the core of the interface. This included designing a "move-around" and gesture legend that appeared at the top of the screen, guiding users through the interaction process.

My contributions ensured that the interface was not only functional but also visually engaging, following Platform Calgary’s style guide, providing an intuitive, hands-free experience for users to explore company details such as industry, employee count, and more.
