Explore my journey through personal social media and event marketing campaigns.
Lethbridge Polytechnic - Spatial Technologies Applied Research and Training (START): March 2025
Quest Objective
As the lead organizer and marketer for the Getting STARTed event, hosted in partnership with RINSA, I was responsible for the end-to-end planning, execution, and promotion of the event. My role encompassed project management, visual design, and strategic content creation to ensure a high-impact experience for attendees and stakeholders.
I developed all visual assets and wrote original copy across all promotional materials, including digital and print. A key component of the campaign was a series of targeted LinkedIn posts, one of which generated over 800 impressions and strong engagement from Alberta’s innovation community.
The campaign successfully help drive awareness and attendance. The cohesive brand presentation and clear, audience-focused messaging were instrumental in the event’s positive reception.

Mini social campaign (personal project): Sept-Oct 2020
Quest Objective
The mini social campaign is to create three social media posts that help identify the hidden benefits of my time in lockdown and try to help those in the same situation, by providing them with a boost of confidence through relation.
I have worked in Adobe After Effects and Illustrator to create accompanying motion graphics and will be looking at the social posts for reach and engagement to measure the success of the project.

Regional Innovation Network of Southern Alberta (RINSA): 2017
Quest Objective
Create the conference and drive awareness to achieve 70 to 100 attendees at our annual conference.
I used my design skills to create all the conference collateral, some of this included a website, agenda booklets, postcard invitations and posters. Then create radio ads and social media campaigns to drive further engagement.
I used my interpersonal and organisational skills to acquire speakers, sponsorships and a venue fit for all our potential attendees. In conclusion, the conference made a profit to roll into next year and had 82 attendees.

Quest Objective
Promote brand awareness of the RINSA brand within Southern Alberta, specifically to small businesses
As the only designer and marketing person within the RINSA team, I was responsible for promoting and driving awareness to the brand by creating a website, brochures and social media presence.
To achieve further engagement, I attended tradeshows with newly created collateral that I designed. I organised various events and the annual South50 conference for three years. At the end of my quest, RINSA was known as the top Regional Innovation Network in the province of Alberta, Canada.
